The SCENT OF SECRETS / THERAPEUTIC ESSENTIAL OIL:

Today everyone wants to live a good and healthy life, and for that, people work hard, eat healthily, try to make better choices. But what about mental stress? What do we do to make our life worry-free?


A simple answer to that is, “We try”, but we don’t really do anything about that, So here are some simple ideas that you can do to reduce stress by using essential oil.


Inhaling essential oil



For the ones who are new to essential oil, they can start with lavender essential oil and then try different flavors such as orange, tea tree, lemon, lemongrass.


Lavender essential oil is mostly used in Aromatherapy and is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties. When it comes to relieving stress, its fluorescent smell really gives a soothing and relaxing effect.




Due to its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti depressing properties, its benefits are studied. And most commonly used for treating anxiety, insomnia, restlessness.



Use it as fabric softener or linen spray




The most incredible part of essential oils is that they can be used for anything and everything. Pick your favorite essential oil or if not, use lavender, orange, lemon or lemongrass and add 10-15 drops in your laundry, this will leave your clothes scented.


Add 10-12 drops of essential oil into a spray bottle with 50 ml water and spray it on your clothes, or use it as a room freshener, this is better than using the actual air freshener as it is chemical-free.



Using for its cleansing properties



Tea tree and peppermint essential oils are known for their cleansing properties. From treating acne to getting rid of garbage odor, these oils are really worth using.


When it comes to relieving cough and cold, these oils have been used since ancient times.


Add 4-5 drops of tea tree or peppermint oil into the cotton ball and keep it under your garbage bag to avoid odor.


You can also make your own chemical-free all-purpose cleaner by blending 10-15 drops of tea tree or peppermint essential oil with ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar and ½ cup of water and spray it on your windows, kitchen, floor and wipe it with a clean cloth.



Use it for massage and bath/ common use/ other uses



Add 15-20 drops of your favorite essential oil into a warm bath or dilute it with a base oil and apply it for sore muscles or joints and body pain.


It has been studied that 43% of people suffer from stress and anxiety, and the essential oil is well known for curing it.


Essential oil is for family, its use is not limited as mentioned above. All you have to do is choose the correct essential oil depending on your needs and purpose. There are no particular rules that define the use of essential oil, it all depends on how you like your essential oil.
