How is the lemon essential oil made?

Lemon essential oil is extracted from the peels of fresh lemons using the distillation process, often using the steam.


Lemon is a part of the citrus family, the other fruits include grapefruit, orange, lime, tangerine. It is native to South Asia but now grown in almost all countries. Lemon essential oil fights bacteria, reduces inflammation, and relieves anxiety.

Lemon essential oil is well known for its relieving stress and uplifting mood and its cleansing properties.




Here are some of the tips you can do to make lemon essential oil use in everyday life:

Use lemon essential oil to lighten your hair, mostly it works on brown hair or naturally light-colored hair. Add a few drops of lemon essential oil into a carrier oil and rinse your hair after some time.

It helps nausea and vomiting due to early pregnancy, it may not completely stop it but can help to relieve in the morning.

It can be added to massage blends to moisturize for healthy and clear looking skin.

It can be diffused to relieve stress, relax mood, reduce pain, relieve from cold and flu symptoms

Dilute lemon essential oil and tea tree into a spray bottle with water and clean wooden floors, bathroom walls, windows, furniture, etc. It works as a natural disinfectant

Use it for removing gum, adhesive, or add it in your laundry for fresh lemon fragrance from your linens.

Combine lemon oil with peppermint, tea tree, and eucalyptus along with a carrier oil to make natural insect repellent.

Lemon is known for antibacterial properties, in a bucket add a few drops of lemon essential oil, eucalyptus essential oil, and peppermint oil, and soak your feet for 15-20 minutes, this will relieve from any fungal issues or smelly feet.

Clean your microwave with a bowl full of water and add 3-5 drops of lemon essential oil, and wipe it with a clean cloth, fresh scent, and easy way to clean the microwave.
